I have been fascinated by photography for some 25 years now, since first being introduction to cameras as a kid and then developing that interest through to a professional level during my Armed Forces career in the 80’s. I have been captivated and impassioned by all things photographic ever since.
My photography has taken me all over the world working on projects in Denmark, America, Spain and across the UK and working with dozens of interesting organizations who like me are passionate about what they do. My work has included portraiture, wedding coverage, commercial photography, documentary photography and more.
I love working with people, getting to know my clients, discovering what their passions are, spending time with people, as individuals, couples, families, especially in portraiture where rapport is important. Photographically this informs me about how best to take a character driven, natural, lifestyle portrait and how best to capture my clients when they're comfortable and having fun. A portrait for me must be an enjoyable, fun and a pleasant experience, even a formal business or studio portrait. This allows me to capture natural images with character, feeling, personality and depth.
In like manner I bring this same philosophy to my wedding photography and strive to develop a relationship with my wedding clients which will nurture natural, informal, fun wedding photography!
